Happy Spooks Day

Here are my spooks!

Little Red Riding Hood

Pirate Boy

They had loads of fun at our church's annual Fall Festival/Block Party. They each won something from the cake walk, so I ended up bringing back home the chocolate fudge cake I made, but that's okay! Tad also won two 2-liter drinks from the ring toss game and they have loads of candy. My ingenious teenager has decided to take part of her bag of goodies to school to sell for five cents a piece. She's got bills! She's in deep to the landlord for running up her cellphone bill. All in all, it was a lot of fun, now I'm ready for a break!

How cute! Gosh, just look at all the sugar - chocolate fudge cake, candy, soft-drinks...I feel fatter just thinking about it.

Wonder if Ryan could take a cue from Shelby and sell candy or something to get out of debt to us? It would take a LOT of candy to pay off his $2300 car repair bill to us! I'm gonna have to get a job to pay that credit card next month.

Oh, is that your new banquette in the background? Looks like beaded board...I love beaded board!

Sorry...

Hey Vicki, Thanks for noticing the gunnery platform but someone wasn't supposed to post a picture of it until it was completely done!

Oops...sorry, Art. Well, at least I didn't ask about the beautiful flooring (did you install that yourself?) and the wainscoting (ahhhh!)...so, um, how much longer 'till you're finished?

Gunnery platform? Heehee...

Yep, we did all ourselves. I guess it looks pretty good in the pic but there are still some minor trim pieces left to install. How much longer? Ooooh. A very long time apparently. I wanted to have it all done by now but that hasn't happened:(
