I Can See!!

I can see! Praise God! Maybe I should say I can read! Of course I have no problem with my actual sight, but as far as reading goes, I was having severe troubles. So, now problem fixed. I have my new glasses. Now, I'll be able to read more than one or two blogs a day and maybe actually leave a comment or two here or there. I cannot believe I'm actually excited about glasses. Now, I've had them before when I was about 12, but after seeing a specialist discovered I didn't really need them. I was told at that time that at some point in the future I would need glasses. Well, apparantly the future is now. I have somewhat of a lazy eye, not so you'd be able to tell, but I can tell and the opposite eye has been working overtime to compensate for the lazy one. It had gotten to the point where I couldn't read anything. As a matter of fact, Sunday morning after church while sitting in the dimly lit Mexican restaurant I couldn't even read the darn menu. I could've been ordering sushi for all I knew. Well, now the problem is solved and I can't wait to go pick up one of the books I took on vacation last fall and read it!

I am so glad you can see now! I've been wondering where you were! Now you'll be able to see AND hear Art preach on Sunday!

It must be the red hair. Laura (my daughter) had somewhat of a lazy eye as a youngster...she wore glasses then to correct her focus. Sometime in grade school, she was able to give up the glasses. She wears them on occasion now (computer work and other work that requires a lot of focus).

Vicki - as much as I'd like to blame it on the 'red hair', I can't. Mine comes out of a bottle. I have no idea what my natural hair color is anymore. As a child, I had blonde hair and it gradually changed on me. I didn't like it, so I changed it myself! :)

I'm excited about the glasses I'm getting too...

I'm glad you can see now though. At least we'll have one song leader at church who can read the words off the page. Hyuk:)

Well, Stacie, the color you selected is very becoming. With your skin tones, it looks natural. We'll just keep it to ourselves! ;)

There are few worse things than blurred vision--- UGH. I have had glasses/contacts since 5th grade, and I cannot believe what a difference they made. Seeing is truly one of the best things in life.
