There have been several folks around the blogosphere posting favorite music of their youth. Well, here are some of my favorites from my early childhood. I have an eclectic taste in music thanks to different influences, so for now I'll start with the influences from my much older brother. I thought he was soo cool and hip, I idolized him and the music I heard coming from his bedroom. It was the mid to late 70's and like I said earlier I was a very small child. I'll post other childhood favorites later. Enjoy!

... and then you started listening to hardcore punk...
All fine choices, Stacie! As young as you were, I'm surprised you can even remember hearing any of these! ;)
I like all three artists, too. Did it occur to you that two of these five artists died far too early? Does Art have an opinion?
Do I have an opinion about them dying too early? Vicki, what are you trying to say???:)
I'm not trying to say anything, Art...I was just thinking back to your blog having several posts about death, dying, death coming in threes, etc...there was a bit of a theme going for a while there! That's all... :)
Vicki- Art has an opinion on EVERYTHING! Bless his heart ;) But to be perfectly honest, I don't remember specific songs by those individuals, I just remember their sound.
Art- sweetie, you and I both know I never listened to anything remotely associated to punk until I met you!
Hahahha...interesting 'discussion' folks :)
I've enjoyed Elvis just as much too and I remembered I was 13 the year when he......died :(
First I'm old, now I'm opinionated... ya'll make me sound like some crotchety old man...
... cough...
And don't blame me for turning Stace on to punk. Wasn't there a previous significant other who did that???
Poor Art...you could almost feel sorry for him!
I hear great things are in store on March 30...
vicki - yes great things indeed are in store for Art!! I can't wait!
Art - you know there was no significant other before you!
Run, run for hills! Lightening is about to strike!
