Childhood Music, part deux

As I said earlier, here is more music of my childhood. I suppose that we're all influenced as children by our parent's tastes in music. I remember listening along with my parents to the 8-track tape in our vehicle to Don Williams, Tammy Wynette, Barbara Mandrell just to name a few. Of course my favorite was Dolly Parton. I knew every word to every song on all those 8-track tapes. Wow I'm really dating myself now, but as I look back on it, those were the days! So sit back and relax and enjoy some good ole country music!

Wonderful, dear. Everything I despise about country music in one blog post! Thanks. Dolly's a nice touch as well.

Visit my blog this week for REAL country:)

p.s. - I love you anyway!

Gosh, Stacie! I didn't realize you were old enough to remember 8-track!

Hey! I attended an Oaks concert years ago when I was in high school and they were still a gospel group.

nadine & vicki - didn't you just hate it when those 8-tracks got stuck and all the tape would fly out all over the place? And Vicki, remember I said I was a very small child.

art - glad you liked it! And you know how much I just LOVE that Dolly Parton!
