Daddy

As I'm sure most of you have read from Art's blog, you may already know my beloved father, Tommy, passed away on Friday, February 9th, on what would have been my mother's birthday. I thank those of you who prayed for him and our family and I ask you to continue praying for us during this difficult time as we grieve. Yes, it will be hard letting go, but I can honestly say I am at peace. As I told my pastor this evening, I can feel God's hand at work through all of this. I believe from my thoughts that I shared with you earlier, to the first, and then second stroke that each of these were but steps in the process to prepare us for the end and I thank God that we were given this opportunity because I know that not all families are given this chance.

From the bottom of my heart.....Thank you!

Again, thank you, Stacie, for sharing your father's faith and the end of his earthly life with us. I do believe you were given an opportunity to let him know of your love for him, and to see him off into his eternal life. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers, especially in the difficult next several days.

Dear Stacie and Art,
Jesus said, “In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2
It is so hard to lose your father (in law) / grand father - I know, my family knows. But we have a hope that we, as children of the Father, will see each other again in God’s house. My prayers are with you.
Blessings
